Our story
Built by families, for families.
The mission
Helpmate started at a kitchen table in San Diego, between two siblings and a parent who would not wear the medical-alert pendant her doctor kept recommending. We are building the product that conversation was actually about.
Most safety devices for older relatives send one alert to one phone, then trust the rest to the family. The result is panic, plus a flood of competing apps that none of the people involved actually open — the pendant-and-call-center default most families have been offered has not kept up with how care actually works today.
Helpmate unifies the picture: a wearable that watches for a fall, a tracker for the keys and wallet, and one caregiver app the whole family shares. Multi-caregiver does not mean multi-master — the wearer’s primary caregiver invites everyone else, and everyone sees the same quiet timeline.
